Graham Greene
It saddened me to learn of the passing of Graham Greene last week at the age of 73. He was, to put it simply, one of my absolute favorite actors, and he will be greatly missed.
This is not an obituary, just an acknowledgement. Many of the former have been posted since Mr. Greene’s death. I just wanted to say this: I loved his character, Walter Crow Horse, in Thunderheart. Ditto Kicking Bird (Academy Award nomination) in Dances With Wolves. And his powerful role as tormented Vietnam veteran Mogie Yellow Lodge in Skins. And this is just scratching the surface.
I also loathed his character, Malachi Strand, in a dozen episodes of the Longmire TV series. He had to be one heck of an actor to engender that emotion. And yes, he was.
