“Merry Christmas,” if that’s the holiday you’ll be celebrating later this week. “Happy Holidays,” if you don’t celebrate it but instead enjoy one of the many other various holidays that occur around this time of year. “Have A Nice Day” if you choose not to celebrate any of them.

I suppose I’m closest to the latter category. Okay, we do have an annual family gift exchange, which took place this past weekend. I mean, there are grandkids involved here, ya know!

But for my bride and me, the celebration takes place every day of our lives. The celebration takes place every single morning when we look at each other and say, “We’re still here, chief!” The celebration takes place when we strive to be and do the best we can every single day of the year, not just a day here and a day there. Shouldn’t we all be striving to do that?

I won’t elaborate here. I’ve written some posts you can check out: “‘I Can’t Wait Till’…Oh Yes I Can” and “I’m Still Here, Chief.” Enjoy. And meantime, have a great…Celebration of Life.
