Jacqueline was my world, my everything. The bravest person I’d ever known, she battled and beat the demon cancer many times during our 3+ decades together. Two of those times she was “toe-tagged”—advised to get her affairs in order. Neither came to pass. But last month the demon cancer beat her, though it freed her from the pain and suffering she had endured in recent months.
Before she passed, my beautiful bride made me promise to take care of myself. I did, and I am. But I am empty.
Mike, I am so sorry. Jacqueline was brave, smart and fun. I always enjoyed her company and her complete sense of grounding. It was a blessing to know her. Now you belong to our membership of widowers to which no one wants to belong. May the force be with you…….
Thank you, Pat. I’m certain that you know how I am feeling at this time.
Mike-
I just got home and opened Facebook only to see your very sad news. Both Dave and I are so sorry for your loss. We know how much Jacqueline meant to you, and how happy she made you. Please take care – and if there is anything we can do for you, let us know.
Sydney
Thank you, Syd.
Mike, I am so very, very sorry. I saw the joy she brought to your life, and I saw the joy you built together. She was a remarkable woman and our world is diminished by her passing. Please take care of yourself, and if there is anything an old student can help with, please let me know. Mark
Much appreciated, Mark.
Mike, I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting your Jacqueline, I could tell from your comments over the years how much she meant to your life together.
Thank you, Dennis.
Blessings to you Mike.
She was the definition of love and truly one of the best, beautiful in so many ways people I have ever met and a real joy to be blessed to have a connection with. She was one of the very few people who really “got me”.
My heart goes out to you, my friend.
Sending love to you here and to her as she embraces the great mystery that we will all return to.
❤️

Kind words, old friend. Thanks.
Sending you much love … and please know our hearts and thoughts are with you, Mike. You both shared a bond that few ever experience. May that love hold you now. <3
Thanks, Indy.
May her memory, spirit and the love you’ve shared be blessings always and forever. I won’t forget Jacqueline or your love story. Sending saves of comfort. <3

You’ve been a great supporter and friend, GOTB. Thanks!
I am so very sorry for your loss. Your words share the love you two had for each other, and you continue to have. I wish you peace.
Thank you so much.
Mike, Molly and I have a photo of you and Jacqueline in our hall and when I pass down the hallway I send love to Jacqueline. I already miss her so much. Know everyday Molly and I are thinking about you and we love you so much.
Aww. Thanks, Dave.
Gerry and I had the joy of meeting you and Jacqueline only once. Still, it was easy to see at least some of what you two shared. Your regard for your “beautiful bride” has always shone through when you wrote about her. My sincere condolences for you loss of such a lovely spirit.
Much appreciated, Kate.
Jacqueline is such a wonderful soul and I love her to pieces. I am so thankful that I had someone like her in my life and I know her love for you knew no bounds. You and her were built to fit each other perfectly and that kind of love is so amazing and rare. I love you dad and am so thankful that you had such an amazing love in your life. The love will always live on!
Beautiful thoughts, Marissa. Thanks.
Lovely.
Thanks, cuz,
