Day 18,764 of the coronavirus pandemic: enough already! I mean, freaking enough! Are we back in the Dark Ages with the Black Plague? And it only seems to be getting worse.
My bride and I are still hanging in there, doing what we need to do as high-risk seniors to protect ourselves. We did have to venture out over the past few days—double-masked, of course—when my laptop died and necessitated trips to Best Buy. Did I say died? The screen half of it separated from the keyboard half, much like the saucer section separated from the battle bridge of the Enterprise on Star Trek. Made us nervous being out…but you gotta do what you gotta do.
For me, the most positive thing to happen while hanging out in the quarantine cave was regaining the desire to write again—books, not blog posts. My new opus is done, and it should be available for public consumption within a few weeks. Stay tuned…
And please, STAY SAFE.
Thank you for being so careful! Doing the same around here.
Glad to hear it, GOTB!
